PARTS DRIVER

Duval Ford is seeking a Parts Driver.  This position is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of automotive parts and equipment to customers and suppliers.

Requirements

• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roadways.


• Strong time management and organizational skills.


• Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and equipment.


• Good communication and customer service skills.


• Basic understanding of automotive parts and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver parts, equipment, and supplies to customers, vendors, and other locations as required.


• Adhere to a scheduled delivery route and ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner.


• Load and unload parts and equipment into and from the delivery vehicle with care to prevent damage.


• Provide professional and courteous service to customers during deliveries, addressing any immediate concerns or issues.


• Perform regular maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle and report any issues to the supervisor. Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained.


• Accurately complete and submit all necessary delivery and pick-up paperwork, including obtaining customer signatures.


• Assist with parts inventory, including counting and organizing parts.


• Follow all safety and driving regulations, company policies, and procedures.


• Maintains a professional appearance and conduct.
