Parts Driver-Kenworth

Description

All Roads Trucks in Riviera Beach has an opening for a Parts Driver. This role is primarily responsible for delivering parts/orders to specified customer locations as part of a single or multi-stop route designated by the office. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. The ability to lift up to 75 lbs. is required. Compensation starts at $14/hour.

1. Verify the daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and report any problems with the vehicle to your manager
2. Verify all orders are accurate to ensure timely delivery
3. Inspect and secure all parts in vehicle
4. Comply with all DOT requirements
5. Keep the interior and exterior of company vehicle clean and presentable
6. Assist warehouse personnel with tasks once deliveries are complete
7. All other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  Must be able to lift packages up to 75 lbs. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, full time. Hours are 7 am -3:30 pm or 8:30 am - 5 pm. 

Travel 

As a delivery driver, travel to predetermined locations daily, 80% travel.  

Required Education and Experience 

1. High School Diploma or GED required
2. Must have excellent customer service skills
3. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
4. Prior parts delivery experience preferred
5. Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and be insurable through our carrier
