At Hilltop Camper and RV our goal is to be the premier destination for outdoor fun! Our family-owned company is in the 3rd generation of ownership and has been in business since 1951. We are currently looking for a Parts Manager for our Brainerd, MN location.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated RV Parts Manager to lead the parts department in a fast-paced RV dealership & service center. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about RV components and accessories, organized in managing inventory and vendor relationships, and skilled at providing excellent customer service. We would also consider a motived candidate with less experience but has the willingness to learn the RV industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the RV parts department.
  • Order, receive, and manage inventory of RV parts and accessories.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and minimize overstock or shortages.
  • Identify and source specialty parts as needed for service technicians or retail customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and terms.
  • Assist walk-in and call-in customers with parts inquiries and purchases.
  • Collaborate with service department staff to ensure timely parts availability.
  • Train, supervise, and support parts staff.
  • Maintain clean, organized parts storage and sales areas.
  • Track returns, warranties, and exchanges.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree or technical certification a plus).
  • Ideally, 2+ years of experience in RV, automotive, or similar parts management.
  • Strong knowledge of RV components (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, towing, etc.).
  • Experience with inventory management systems and parts catalogs.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an RV dealership or service center.
  • Familiarity with DMS or inventory platforms (e.g., IDS, Lightspeed, or similar).
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a parts department.
