Parts Manager
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Schedule: Full-Time | May include occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays Compensation: $85,000 – $105,000 per year (based on experience) Additional Compensation: Annual performance bonus Travel: Up to 35% Direct Reports: 11
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Parts Manager to lead our parts department operations in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this high-impact role, you will oversee a team of 11 direct reports, driving departmental profitability, managing inventory, and optimizing operational processes. Your ability to lead, analyze, and execute will be essential in aligning department performance with company-wide goals and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership, motivation, and coaching to the parts team, ensuring productivity and adherence to company policies
Drive parts sales growth, control costs, and maximize departmental profitability
Analyze daily financial and inventory reports to monitor performance and achieve KPIs
Lead inventory reduction efforts and continuous improvement projects (e.g., Syncron, GEMBA)
Monitor and improve OE and SRO fill rate performance
Conduct employee performance evaluations and implement growth plans
Prepare for and conduct monthly business review meetings and budgeting processes
What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or a related field (preferred)
4+ years of experience in parts management or a related field
Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop a team
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems (e.g., SX.e), and parts invoicing
Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
Experience with lean environments, JIT inventory, Kanban systems (preferred)
Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP) are a plus
Strong customer service orientation and cross-functional collaboration experience
