Job Description - Parts Manager

🛠 Responsibilities:



  • Source and manage parts efficiently to support timely vehicle repairs.

  • Review tickets for accuracy before quoting or sourcing.

  • Communicate effectively with advisors, technicians, and vendors.

  • Track parts orders, delays, and maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Support workflow efficiency by prioritizing urgent jobs and Q.C. needs.

  • Assist in quality control coordination to help speed up final vehicle delivery.

  • Manage vendor relationships and contribute to cost-saving opportunities.

  • Log updates and maintain documentation in shop systems.


✔️ Requirements:



  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

  • Clear understanding of urgency and how it impacts customer experience and shop flow.

  • Effective communicator—both verbal and written—with team members and vendors.

  • Comfortable with technology and learning systems like TekMetric and PartsTech.

  • Ability to stay focused and calm in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts is a plus, but a willingness to learn is just as important.

  • Valid driver’s license (test drives may be required).

  • Physically able to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
