Parts Manager (semi-trailer)

A leading semi-trailer dealership in Florida is seeking a Parts Manager for a direct hire position in Lakeland, FL. The company offers a wide selection of new and used trailers, including reefers, vans, flatbeds, dump trailers, and specialty trailers.

• Manage, train, and motivate route sales, counter, warehouse, and delivery personnel
• Oversee department training, team reviews, and staff development
• Schedule and lead product training for employees and customers
• Handle estimating, quoting, and purchasing functions
• Follow up on delinquent orders and ensure timely completion
• Oversee warehouse operations and parts showroom
• Manage year-end inventory and audits
• Build and promote customer relationships
• Set and achieve department sales and profit goals
• Maximize profit margins and control department expenses
• Develop strong relationships with key customers and vendors
• Share new product features with customers to drive sales
• Manage sales data, reporting, and store-level execution of standards
• Assist with building maintenance and collaborate with other department managers

• Heavy-duty truck parts experience (required)
• Previous parts experience (required)
• Prior management experience (preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and employee management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to walk, sit, stand for extended periods
• Driving is a duty valid driver’s license (required)
