Parts Manager-High Volume Honda Dealership

Route 128 Honda is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Manager to join our high volume Honda dealership located in Reading, MA. The successful candidate will oversee the parts department to ensure efficient operations, excellent customer service, and optimal inventory management to support our dealership’s goals and growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, and distribution.


• Lead and develop a team of parts staff, providing training and support to maintain high performance.


• Ensure accurate parts pricing, availability, and timely fulfillment of customer and service department needs.


• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate purchasing agreements to maximize profitability.


• Monitor parts sales and inventory levels to optimize turnover and minimize excess stock.


• Work closely with service and sales departments to coordinate parts needs and ensure seamless operations.


• Implement best practices in parts management and compliance with company policies.


• Provide regular reports on parts department performance to dealership management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Parts Manager or similar role in high volume automotive dealerships.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.


• Excellent knowledge of automotive parts, inventory management, and ordering processes.


• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.


• Proficient with dealership management systems and inventory software.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
