Job Description - Parts Material Handler

Joe Basil Chevrolet is looking for a full-time Parts Material Handler to join our family-like work environment! A fast-paced high-volume parts department is the right place to fast track your career. Come join the Basil family, a company that truly cares and appreciates their team!

In this role you would be responsible for filling orders created by the parts consultants and getting them to internal customers. Much of this job involves moving between the department and the warehouses, accurately pulling the parts required, and bringing them to the assigned technician or customer.

Position: Parts Material Handler

Location: Joe Basil Chevrolet – 5111 Transit Rd Depew NY 14043

Compensation: Between $17.00-$20.00 per hour (Based on knowledge, experience, store franchise, and volume)

Schedule: Full Time - 5 Day Work Week

Job Duties and qualifications:

Restocks shelves with new inventory
Maintain clean workplace
Help drivers with loading of parts trucks
Ensure timely distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule
Keep parts area clean and well organized for production efficiency
Pulls Parts Orders for the service and body shops
Assists the Shipper and Receiver with loading and unloading of trucks
Organizes and Maintains the Warehouses
Must be self-disciplined: work without constant supervision and be goal oriented
Must be able to work in all types of weather and be physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds

Valid Driver’s License required for all positions
