The role of Shop Helper/Parts Runner is a vital support position for the Fleet Manager. Responsibilities include running parts or materials from vendors to job sites or the warehouse, assisting with property and fleet vehicle maintenance, and managing mechanic stock inventory. This role requires a versatile individual ready to contribute to various tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Fleet Manager with oil changes and general maintenance of fleet vehicles.

• Contribute to property maintenance, including trash disposal, mowing, and organizing recyclable materials.

• Operate a ride-on mower and weed eater for varying durations, particularly on mowing days and in challenging weather conditions.

• Make part runs to collect materials/parts from vendors for delivery to technicians or back to the warehouse.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.

• Ability to meet medium-level physical exertion requirements, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Capability to follow oral and/or written instructions.

• Reliability, punctuality, and safety-mindedness with a strong work ethic.

• Team-oriented and willing to work extended hours when necessary.

• Positive, helpful demeanor, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.

• No lifting restrictions and no fear of heights.

• Tolerance for high and low-temperature levels and occasional inclement driving conditions.

• Honesty about skills and capabilities.

• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, with a clean driving record.

SCHEDULE:

• Availability to work Monday- Friday anywhere between 7:00AM-6:00pm (or until daily task are complete)

SALARY:

• Competitive salary ranging from $37,440 to $50,000 based on experience and knowledge.
