Job Title: Parts Runner

Location: Harbor Chevrolet/Hyundai, Long Beach, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Starting at $18.00/hour or higher DOE

Job Summary

The Parts Runner plays a key support role in the dealership’s service and parts departments. This position involves delivering parts to technicians, assisting with inventory, and helping maintain an organized and efficient parts operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver parts quickly and accurately to technicians in service bays


• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing parts inventory


• Help maintain a clean and orderly parts department


• Support parts counter staff with locating and preparing parts


• Pick up or drop off parts from local vendors as needed


• Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods


• Strong attention to detail and time management


• Good communication and teamwork skills


• Willingness to follow dealership safety protocols


• Ability to work safely around vehicles, equipment, and technicians


• Familiarity with basic personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and closed-toe shoes


• Previous dealership or warehouse experience is a plus
