Parts Runner - CMAs Colinial Auto Center

Description

Delivers and picks up parts, cores and materials for technicians. Keeps shop orderly and supports the technicians as needed.

Essential Duties

• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to technicians.
• Delivers parts to shop when needed and distributes to appropriate technicians.
• Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry.
• Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
• Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Other tasks as assigned. 

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have precise attention to detail, be an enthusiastic learner, a self-starter and a strong team player.

Education and/or Experience

• No experience necessary- we will train the right candidate!

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization..

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Valid Driver's License - Good Driving Record
