How You Will Make an Impact

Our guests expect luxury, value, and world-class service. As a team member for Auto Parts Shipping & Receiving, you will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and delivering parts in the local market to ensure luxury, hospitality, and value for our guests. You will impact whether we become our guest’s favorite place to purchase, lease, or service their vehicle.

What Winning Looks Like:

• Demonstrating a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness and optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity
• Stocking incoming parts per department guidelines
• Receiving and accounting for all packages delivered to the shipping and receiving door
• Responsible for shipping and ordering parts as needed, including checking in daily stock and special-ordering parts
• Unloading receipts for daily stock orders
• Inspects all glass orders being received
• Checks in all returns and puts them away
• Inspecting sheet metal properly before it leaves the dealership
• Correctly counting and checking tags and parts in bins on quarterly perpetual inventories
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
• Properly use and maintain equipment provided by the parts department
• Maintaining the workplace you are assigned to be clean and orderly
• Using parts supplies in a practical and economical manner
• Refusing packages that are not addressed to our name and address.
• Pulling and replenishing the parts department inventory
• Inventory control
• Brings parts to counter personnel
• Assist parts drivers
• Answering phone calls as needed
• Deliver parts to wholesale customers as needed
• Assist co-workers with daily routines as needed

Skills Needed to Win:

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to effectively manage time to meet and exceed targets
• A strong desire to succeed
• Previous experience in automotive counter (parts sales preferred) a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
• Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematic skills
• A focus on providing exemplary hospitality
• Strong communication and organizational skills; detail-oriented
• Able to pass a motor vehicle report and possess an acceptable safe driving record with a valid driver’s license
• Stable work history
