Summary:

Material Handling Inc. is searching for a Parts Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Nashville, TN. We need an ambitious and hardworking professional who is able to work quickly and efficiently to take care of our customers. What You'll Do:

• Receive, check, sort, and route incoming parts to proper destination.
• Prepare, package, and ship parts to customers and other branches.
• May operate hose assembly machine to construct hose assemblies.
• Upon request, pick up or deliver parts to proper destination.
• Rearrange parts inventory and layout to increase floor, shelf, or bench space as needed.
• Receive, mark, and store parts in stockroom according to prearranged system.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Confirm with customer, via email or phone, receipt of order, shipment of order, delays, or any other pertinent information.
• Route replenishment parts to service technicians for van.
• Maintain various records, files, or logs necessary to effectively perform function.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts in warehouse and service vans.

Requirements

Competencies:

• Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills
• Desire to work hard and take care of the customer
• Dependable and Reliable
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous parts department experience is preferred but not necessary
• Must have a good driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
