Parts Specialist – El Cajon, CA

• Location: Pacific Power Group, 1450 Hill Street, El Cajon, CA
• Pay Range: $30.00 - $36.00/hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 - 4:00 PM + rotating on-call weekend schedule
• Travel: up to 25%
• Must have a valid driver’s license | Ability to lift 50 lbs | Marine and power generation/diesel engine experience preferred

MSHS Pacific Power Group is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parts Specialist to support our busy Marine Parts Department in El Cajon. If you’ve got a mechanical mindset, great communication skills, and a passion for helping customers, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist walk-in, phone, and email customers with parts inquiries and quotes 
• Use electronic and paper catalogs to identify and recommend parts 
• Enter and manage orders using internal and vendor systems 
• Track backorders and monitor part availability 
• Support service team with pricing and availability info 
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation 
• Provide backup support to the warehouse team and participate in cycle counts 
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule 
• Continuously develop product and system knowledge through training 

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or GED 
• 2+ years of parts experience (preferred) 
• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and online vendor tools 
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment 
• Marine, power generation and diesel engine knowledge is a plus
