Essential functions and responsibilities: 

  • Administer legacy online parts platform for dealers not yet transitioned to the new B2B system. 
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of parts across all brands, including: 
  • Model updates and discontinued components 
  • Historical warranty issues and their resolutions 
  • Specification changes between legacy and current models, with ability to identify variations. 
  • Provide expert support to customers with parts-related inquiries. 
  • Assist service and sales teams with infrequently used or obscure part identification. 
  • Facilitate communication from Sonor Germany by routing U.S. customer inquiries to appropriate departments (sales or warranty). 

Parts Receiving & Inventory Management: 

  • Receive incoming parts shipments, including: 
  • Assigning bin locations, properly bagging/tagging items, and completing put-away using scanner 
  • Maintain bin organization: 
  • Update new thermal bin labels and replace worn or outdated bins as needed. 
  • Relocate product to different bin locations when necessary. 
  • Update part numbers (e.g., to new SAP numbers) as required. 
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality. 
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.?

  • Perform additional duties as directed, requested, or assigned.

Physical demands:?While performing the duties of the job, incumbent is required to: 

  • Stand and walk on a concrete floor. 
  • Talk and hear. 
  • Reach with hands and arms. 
  • Use hands to manipulate, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls. 
  • Employee will occasionally sit. 
  • Must be able to navigate stairs to reach certain work areas. 
  • Occasional lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and ability to focus.  

Work environment:?Temperature-controlled shop environment. Noise level is moderate. Occasional visits to the warehouse would result in a warehouse environment which includes temperature extremes, dusts, and fumes. Travel requirements for trade shows or customer visitors would include travel by motor vehicle or airplane. 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Demonstrated basic understanding of products distributed by KHSA 
  • Knowledge of musical instrument parts 
  • A minimum of two years of proven successful work experience 
  • Experienced with computer applications in a workplace setting. 

Qualifications desired: 

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or stockroom setting. 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet work-related deadlines. 
  • Previous customer service experience and/or music retail experience
