Parts Specialist

Description

Provides a high level of external and internal customer satisfaction. Effectively engages and follows parts department standard processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Responsible for checking in parts orders daily and disbursing to correct location or customer.

· Demonstrates a concern for JJ Nichting Co. as a whole. Exhibiting communication skills and cooperating with other departments and locations within JJ Nichting Co.

· Promotes teamwork and maintains a positive attitude.

· Fills position at parts counter to support customer sales.

· Collaborates with Location Manager to ensure proper on-hand parts inventory to meet customer demand while achieving desired inventory performance standards.

· Participates in ongoing inventory processes to ensure proper inventory control.

· Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.

Schedule:

· Full-time Monday to Friday

· Weekends during planting and harvest

Requirements

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge

· Prior parts experience in an ag dealership or equivalent preferred, not required

· Ability to effectively communicate with customers and fellow employees.

· A willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
