The Position:
PleasureLand RV Center is currently looking for a full time Parts Specialist. As a Parts Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in our parts department's operations. Your focus will be on maintaining inventory accuracy, offering exceptional customer service, and collaborating effectively with our team. Essential Job Functions:
- Work with our Service Technicians to get them the parts needed to successfully keep the service process moving with each unit.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our parts inventory, including specifications, applications, and pricing through in house and factory training programs.
- Maintain parts inventory by monitoring stock levels, initiating reorder requests, while maintaining meticulous records to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Build and maintain a professional and long-lasting relationship with vendors and manufacturers that we order our parts through.
- Build a professional relationship with customers based on honesty, integrity, and industry leading product knowledge. Offer guidance to customers to assist them in selecting suitable parts as well as process and fulfill their parts orders with precision and attention to detail. Your goal is to be their main contact when it comes to their parts and service needs.
- Perform duties as assigned by manager
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a parts department, automotive industry and/or related field is preferred, but not required.
- Strong customer service skills both in person and via phone and other various communication channels.
- Ability to communicate and build rapport with all levels of the company, from customers to management.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications; familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be self-motivated. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Physical Requirements and Schedule:
- Ability to lift 10–50 lbs. regularly; occasional lifts up to 75 lbs. may be required
- Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday availability
