Job Description - Parts Specialist

We provide premium equipment sales and service in industries such as garbage and recycling, sweeping, sewer, hydro excavation, and underground operations. Position Summary:


We're looking for a Parts Specialist to be a crucial link between our customers, our service team, and our parts inventory. Your primary mission will be to boost parts sales and ensure our customers and mechanics get exactly what they need when they need it. You'll play a key role in maintaining our high standards of customer support and operational efficiency.



Position Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Be a Parts Expert: Identify and source the right parts—or suitable
    alternatives—for our customers, whether in person, over the phone, or via email.

  • Manage the Process: Handle the entire order lifecycle from start to finish,
    including order entry, billing, and fulfillment.

  • Keep Customers Informed: Provide proactive updates on special orders and
    back-ordered parts, ensuring a seamless experience.

  • Manage Inventory: Maintain and organize our stockroom, process returns and
    coordinate new parts orders to keep inventory levels optimal.

  • Support the Team: Collaborate directly with our Service team and Road
    Technicians, locating and securing parts for job estimates and repairs.



Required Qualifications & Experience:



  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in equipment parts sales, parts inventory, or warehouse operations (shipping/receiving).

  • Skills:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Proficient with computer order processing systems.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.

    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
