Parts Support Rep

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner


• Create quotes based on customer requests.


• Enter orders based on Quotes, into internal systems with speed and accuracy and verify all details, including product information, pricing, and customer data.


• Collaborate with other depts to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.


• Maintain accurate records of quotes, orders, changes, shipments and cancellations.


• Monitor order status and follow up on back orders, shipping delays and special requests.


• Support administrative tasks and contribute to process improvements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Basic understanding of Hörmann technology.


• Ability to recommend product solutions to customer needs


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with order management software, Salesforce & Sap knowledge would be a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field; equivalent experience will be considered


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Experience in sales, business development, or customer service.


• Ability to Type, preferably using the home row.


• Self-motivated, target-driven mindset, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team.


• Ability to work in an office environment where the noise level may be heavy at times.


• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
