Parts Technician

Prepping involves all tasks related to properly preparing a part for paint application. Workmanship will be performed independently but will collaborate with others to meet daily production quotas. Therefore, a positive attitude, a commitment to learning, and teamwork are necessary to be successful at as a prepper. No experience is necessary. Ability to follow instructions and a commitment to standard operating procedures is required.

Duties:

• Adhere to policies with respect to safety, PPE, organization, 5S, quality, and delivery.

• Sanding, scuffing, washing, taping, and organizing products for production.

• Install vinyl paint mask and tape.

• Report substandard quality of materials.

• Clean parts for painting processes.

• Loading and unloading of parts.

• Assist in maintenance and order of workspaces.

1st shift: 6:30-3:00 pm; stay until 4:00 pm during OT

Pay: $18.00

Job type: temp-to-hire

• Automotive care experience is a PLUS but not required.

• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day.

• Ability to use air powered hand tools.

• Ability to wear a dust respirator and nitrile hand gloves.
