We are currently seeking a Part Technician for a full-time role, based out of our Fort Myers, FL HQ.


 


The Parts Technician position is responsible for organizing and maintaining parts inventory by ensuring that all products are accurately boxed, labeled, stored, and documented accordingly in the ERP system as well as all other aspects of daily order processing.


 


This an hourly position and pay rate will be based upon experience and skills. Excellent attendance and dependability are needed, and candidates must be willing to work flexible hours as deemed necessary by business needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Collaborate cross functionally to perform essential job duties with respect and professionalism.

  • Perform cycle counts daily. 

  • Replenish stock bins from overstock as needed.

  • Assist with receiving, inspection, documentation, and status of all returned products and parts. 

  • Handle other applicable aspects of daily order processing including picking, packing, and shipment preparations. 

  • Contact tech support regarding order issues. 

  • Receive and inspect all parts orders from main suppliers. 

  • Review parts sales orders for accuracy. 

  • Review all parts ordered placed on back order for accuracy, and ensure items placed on back order are on order. 

  • Assist the Returns department with restocking parts or disassembling units,

  • Maintain all other guidelines and standards and report any issues to the direct Supervisor and/or senior management. 

  • Assist team members as needed. 

  •  Maintain OSHA Safety guidelines and other regulatory State and Federal standards as applicable to position.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the department / work areas.

  • Follow company safety policies and participate in Safety Training as required.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.



COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS: 



  • Must abide by Company safety policies and participate in Safety Training as required.

  • Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Must have an understanding of distribution operations and have mechanical/technical aptitude. 

  • Must have proficiency with MS Office applications and ERP systems. 

  • Must have working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices. 

  • Must have manual dexterity, be in good physical condition and have good strength and balance for safety. 

  • Must have problem-solving, organizational and time management skills. 

  • Must be dependable with an excellent attendance record and have the willingness to work overtime, arrive early, and/or stay late as per business or project needs. 

  • Must speak, read, and write English and have very good communication skills. 

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
