PAS Admissions Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized PAS Admissions Coordinator to join our team. This role manages new client admissions for Personal Assistance Services (PAS), ensuring services begin promptly, accurately, and in compliance with program requirements. The PAS Admissions Coordinator serves as the link between referral sources, clients, caregivers, and internal departments to ensure a smooth start of services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, review, and process new PAS referrals from case managers, managed care organizations, and other referral sources.


• Verify Medicaid eligibility, service authorizations, and required documentation prior to admission.


• Schedule initial visits with Field Supervisors to meet program and regulatory timelines.


• Communicate with case managers, clients, and caregivers to coordinate the start of care.


• Monitor pending admissions and follow up to prevent service delays.


• Maintain accurate records and documentation in agency systems.


• Assist with reports, audits, and compliance reviews related to PAS admissions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in home care, PAS, healthcare admissions, or scheduling preferred.


• Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility, authorizations, and PAS program requirements a plus.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn agency software systems.


• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.


• High school diploma or equivalent required.
