Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Passivation Technician

Passivation Technicians perform the process of Passivation and all applicable testing. The passivation process consists of immersing parts in a series of cleaning and rinks tanks. This includes loading baskets with product, processing the loads through the line, drying and packaging the product, and performing inspection and lot testing.

Essential Job Duties:

• Processing product to customer requirements.
• Inspection and testing of product.
• Basic upkeep of equipment and solutions. 
• Performs incoming and outgoing visual inspection of parts to ensure quality of product.
• Prepares parts for shipment – wrapping, bagging, loading trays.
• Follows all quality control measures and accurately fills out all production records.
• Follows specific company procedures and work instructions.
• Handles customer product correctly to avoid damage.
• Observe all company policies including good housekeeping, safety and security.
• Other tasks as assigned. 

Requirements

Relationships and Roles:

• Maintains efficient flow of product.
• Will receive cross-training in order to diversify workload and to provide flexible support to other areas of the process when needed.
• Maintains positive relationships with other departments
• Maintains open communication with other departments

Job Specifications:

• High School or GED preferred
• Ability to receive and follow-through with provided instruction.
• Ability to work in fast paced and team oriented area.
• Ability to understand and follow processes and procedures.
• Position requires bending, reaching and lifting up 50 lbs. 
• Ability to work with dust, oils, solvents and/or chemical solutions.
