Pastor/Worship Arts

Our church... is a non-denominational multi-site church with four St. Louis-area campuses where we gather each weekend to study this ancient story found in Scripture that is still transforming lives today. We believe church should be a place where believers in Jesus and skeptics can stand side-by-side to study truth and ask tough questions. We blend teaching and worship with art and technology to create a service where you can experience the message of Jesus in practical and life-changing ways.

This leader of leaders position is responsible for leading and shepherding the worship arts ministry. As one of the key vision keepers for the ministry, this position will oversee and lead the strategy and direction of the tech, music and broadcast teams and will work in conjunction with the leadership team, spiritual oversight team and campus pastors to ensure all campuses are led and resourced well to accomplish our vision. This senior level position is also responsible for leading and fostering all creative processes related to planning and creating the weekend services.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and foster a collaborative team environment conducive to generating innovative ideas and strategies to be used in creating the weekend worship experience
• Provide creative and administrative oversight for all weekly meetings pertaining to the planning and execution of weekend services
• Create and maintain working relationships with all teaching pastors to support their vision and teaching
• Collaborate regularly with Creative Teams and Communications Teams on needs for the weekend services, as well as special projects
• Work closely with the broadcast team as part of the production process for weekend services
• Work closely with the Director of Production in identifying budget needs, staffing needs, and long-term strategic planning
• Lead and manage the Director of Production and the Music Director

• Baptized after making the thoughtful decision to follow Christ
• Regard the Bible as God’s final authority in all areas of Christian life and desire to be wholly obedient to it
• Wholeheartedly affirm The Crossing’s Statement of Faith, including our view on Baptism
• Live a lifestyle consistent with scriptural principles
