Grandfather Golf and Country Club has an exciting full-time, seasonal opportunity to work in our Pastry Shop alongside our Pastry Chef and several other team members. At GGCC, we pride ourselves on the amazing culinary cuisine that we offer our members, and pastry is an integral part of their dining experience!

We are searching for someone passionate about Pastry who enjoys being a part of a cohesive team. A two-year degree from an accredited college or three to four years of progressive work experience is required. In addition, a skill set that includes excellent verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, baked goods knowledge, and the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time and move up to 50 pounds. We require a flexible schedule and a willingness to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

The main responsibility for this position is the overall preparation of various bakery and dessert items for all our Food and Beverage, following our established standards of quality and presentation. Tasks include preparing bread, pies, cakes, cookies, ice creams, sauces, and other pastries for all F&B outlets by following our recipes. Plating, garnishing, developing new products, and rotating bakery items are also a part of this role. The cleanliness of equipment and the workstation throughout the day is critical to maintaining a high standard of sanitation and orderliness.
