Job Details

General Summary:

Safe Life Defense is seeking a Patch Maker to produce high-quality, vinyl, and heat pressed patches used in tactical and protective gear. This role involves operating heat press machines, handling materials, and ensuring that each patch meets precise design and quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience with vinyl printing and weeding, graphic design software, heat presses, and is detail-oriented with strong craftsmanship skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heat press machines and other textile equipment to produce patches according to design specifications.


• Ensure accurate color matching and detailing in patch production.


• Inspect patches for defects and ensure all finished products meet company quality standards.


• Handle fabric, vinyl, and backing materials with precision to ensure durability and consistency.


• Follow work orders and design templates to ensure accurate production.


• Maintain machines, troubleshoot minor issues, and report any equipment malfunctions.


• Keep workstations clean and organized, adhering to company safety guidelines.


• Assist with packaging and inventory management of completed patches.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Previous experience in graphic design, heat pressing, or textile production is preferred, but not required.
  


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications accurately.


• Basic mechanical skills for operating and maintaining printing equipment.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.


• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.


• Team player with a commitment to producing high-quality products.
