We are currently looking for a patent attorney with a strong technical background in computer science. This group is seeking people with very strong technical competency who also have excellent technical writing skills. There is an abundance of challenging work here from major corporate clients, thus you will be exposed to a diverse array of complex software and computer engineering applications (cryptography, block-chain, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), enterprise and mobile applications, databases and data structures, web and cloud services, virtualization, operating systems, file systems. software user interfaces, open source, 3D graphics, digital design, grid computing, computer networking, telecommunications, network protocols, computer architecture, network security, etc.).

Qualifications

At least one year of solid patent drafting and prosecution experience dealing with software related patents
Likely a degree in computer science or computer engineering
Other engineering discipline will be considered if you have an exceptional software and computer science background
Must have excellent writing ability and be able to provide writing samples
Must have strong interpersonal skills, as you will deal directly with inventors and clients
USPTO license and any state bar
