The Opportunity

Join a premier Patent Litigation Section known for representing clients in high-stakes intellectual property matters. This role offers an exciting chance to work on cutting-edge cases, leveraging your technical expertise and litigation skills in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of patent litigation, including:
  • Preparing for and participating in trials and Markman hearings.
  • Conducting technical analyses of products and patents.
  • Managing discovery processes, including working with expert witnesses and conducting depositions.
  • Drafting compelling pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Engage directly with clients to align litigation strategies with their business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in patent litigation, with experience in district court and/or the International Trade Commission.
• Technical Background: Preferred expertise in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Education: JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensure: Admitted to or eligible for admission in California.
• Skills:
  • Strong written and oral communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to collaboration.
• Professionalism: Adept at engaging with clients and fostering strong relationships.
