Pathology Coordinator

Description

The Pathology Coordinator plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operational flow within the anatomic pathology laboratory. This position supports timely case distribution, efficient coordination between departments, and consistent quality standards. Working closely with technical staff and pathologists, the Coordinator helps drive workflow efficiency, supports case logistics, and contributes to overall operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment. 
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and navigate laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Basic knowledge of Human Anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support collaboration across clinical and technical teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Some college coursework or relevant training is preferred but not required. 
• Experience in healthcare, laboratory, or administrative coordination is desired.
