Patient Access Representative

Burnett Medical Center is currently looking for a casual, as-needed Patient Access Representative to work in our Patient Access department.

SHIFT & HOURS:

Casual, fill-in; May include some evenings/weekends

DUTIES:

Greet, register, and schedule patients, verify insurance coverage, answer/redirect phone calls. Collect co-pays and up-front payments. Assist with other registration responsibilities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent.

Clerical experience with a background in medical terminology or prior healthcare experience preferred.

Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.

Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Excellent communication skills.

Computer proficiency; EPIC EHR experience preferred.
