Patient Access Representative ($23/hr) - Generous Compensation

Patient Access Representative @ Community Health Center

Type: Temp-to-Perm

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30AM – 4:30PM
Schedule once perm will include weekend / evening for callouts. Will need to be available for on-call 2x month for callouts.

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be bilingual, English/Spanish
• Minimum 1 year of experience of patient service / administrative in healthcare or dental setting
• Epic experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Schedule, cancel, and/or reschedule patient appointments
• Check-in/check-out appointments and create follow up visits or recalls
• Complete patient registration
• Accurately collect, verify, and data enter demographic and insurance information
• Answer calls through multiline phone system
• Document clear and concise telephone encounters or RX refill requests and route appropriately
• Navigate and document in the Electronic Medical Record (Epic), to access relevant and appropriate information
• Interact in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner while capturing accurate information in order to provide superior customer service
