Patient Access Specialist (40 hours per week) #3395

RAMC is looking for a Patient Access Specialist to join us!

This position could be at our Physicians or Specialty Group Clinic! 

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: Shift times fall 7 AM-7 PM 

Weekends: Rotating 

What you'll do: 

The Patient Access Specialist arranges for the efficient and orderly registration and scheduling of patients throughout the Physician's Group Clinic / Specialty Group Clinic.

Gather information from the patient and enter it into the database. 

Performs clerical and reception duties associated with registration. 

Education and Training Required: 

• High school graduate or equivalent.
  

Experience: 

• Experience working in a hospital or other medical environment is preferred.
  
  

Special knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Good organizational Skills


• Good Time Management


• Excellent hand-written and oral communication skills, grammar, punctuation, and style 


• Ability to work independently


• Resourceful; is aware of and utilizes the available resources 


• Basic Computer knowledge 

Physical Requirements:

• Continuously sits at a desk


• Frequently stands to perform tasks


• Occasionally push/pull with up to 50 pounds
