Screens patients prior to services being rendered, collects co-pays, and refers Self Pay patients to appropriate financial services when needed. Enters data accurately and ensures prompt service to all patients. Acts as a liaison for other ancillary departments within the hospital.
For employees assigned to provide services within the Cardiology Department in Totowa, which focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of heart and blood vessel disorders, flexibility and availability are required based on patient volume, staffing needs, and operational demands. Employees may be required to provide support across applicable outpatient offices, clinical practices, or other locations within the healthcare system as needed to support Cardiology services.
