Job Description - Patient Assistance Lead, Front End

Adparo Front End Lead


We are seeking a highly driven Team Lead (Adparo) to join our growing team. You will be responsible for building and leading the financial counselor team for Adparo, Annexus Health’s tech-enabled service that assists healthcare organizations in managing patient assistance, as well as for overseeing Adparo accounts. This position requires outstanding team management, problem-solving, and communication skills; experience leading complex operations spanning multiple teams and stakeholders; and experience managing C-suite relationships and communications. In this role, you will be the secret weapon of our engineers, users, and Support team as you drive internal strategic and operational initiatives. What You Will Do:



  • Support the growth of the team: help hire, develop, and mentor team members; plan for the future by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, gaps, and risks

  • Proactively contribute to the strategic direction and priorities of the Adparo team based on the needs of Annexus Health

  • Oversee the daily performance of our team of financial counselors and lead process improvement initiatives to help make the Adparo team’s work more effective and efficient to meet the needs of Annexus Health

  • Contribute to the design, documentation, and execution of scalable client implementation and account management workflows

  • Work cross-functionally with other Annexus Health teams, including Product, Support, and Provider Solutions

  • Monitor and manage issues and escalate to the Director of Adparo as needed


About You:



  • Experienced leader of people and complex operations

  • Expertise in financial assistance management operations and strategy

  • Proficient in payer billing and requirements; experience working with manufacturer and foundation programs a plus

  • Proven experience in healthcare billing

  • Ability to plan and structure the department workflow and staffing

  • Ability to manage the workflow for the entire process of bringing in a referral to billing

  • Ability to review and create efficiencies within the Adparo team

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

  • Great attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlines

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills

  • Ability/desire to thrive in a service-oriented culture

  • Quick and deep learner

  • Driven to make a difference
