Patient Care Assistant

Iowa Women’s & Men’s Health Center is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join our growing team! We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist medical staff by rooming patients and ensuring smooth patient flow.


• Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for evaluation by the provider or nurse.


• Support the medical team with inventory management and coordination of medical supplies.


• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.


• Demonstrate teamwork and maintain a caring, positive attitude toward patients and colleagues.


• Cross-trained as a front desk assistant to help with scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, and handling miscellaneous administrative duties.

Schedule:

• Full Time: Monday-Thursday 7:15 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday 7:15 AM – 12:00 PM


• No nights or weekends!

Compensation:

• Starting Wage: $15.00 per hour (based on experience)


• CMAs are encouraged to apply, but certification is not required.
