Patient Care Coordinator

Description

Carolina Smiles is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Coordinator. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every visit is smooth and positive.

Schedule

• We are open Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays from 8:15 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Front desk staff are required to work Monday through Friday and must also be available to work at least one Saturday every 4-6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Manage scheduling for appointments, ensuring efficient use of time slots and patient satisfaction.
• Answer patient inquiries regarding treatment plans, insurance, and payment options.
• Handle patient communications via phone, email, and in person.
• Support administrative tasks, including data entry, patient records management, and appointment reminders.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Previous front desk in a dental / medical setting (required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient in office software and comfortable with practice management systems (training provided).
• A bubbly, positive personality is a must!
