SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Assists in examination and treatment of patients under direction of Provider and/or Clinic Leader by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
20. Will maintain basic life support and defibrillation certification according to Red Cross or American Heart Association guidelines.
21. Will coordinate with provider to ensure all quality standards of the organization are met on an ongoing basis.
22. May assist in the training or re-training of nursing assistants, which may include but is not limited to the following – EMR workflow and checkoff, nursing skills/competency checkoff, lab competency, Quality measures and requirements as well as being a point of contact for Clinic Leaders and Director of Clinical Services.
23. Perform any other duties as assigned by Clinician Supervisor.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Nurse Aid, Medical Assistant or similar medical certification and minimum 1-3 years’ experience working in a medical or clinical setting. Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) preferred. Valid drivers’ license and willing to submit to background check and drug screen.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
SOFTWARE SKILLS: Experience with eClinical Works is a plus. Must be proficient with MS office suite.

ADA REQUIREMENTS: Constant interpersonal skills, teamwork, customer service, reading, speaking, writing and understanding English, and problem analysis. Frequent creativity, mentoring, presentations/teaching. Frequent decision making and independent judgment or action. Frequent keyboarding, sitting, standing, hearing and talking.
