Patient Care Representative

Job Summary

Johnson City Family Medicine is seeking a dedicated and professional Patient Care Representative to join our team. This position works under the general supervision of the Center Manager and is responsible for providing excellent front-office support in a medical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service through friendly and professional interactions with patients
• Manage computerized appointment scheduling both via telephone and in person
• Accurately enter over-the-counter charges and payments
• Handle patient registration and certification of demographics
• Verify patient information at each scheduled appointment
• Set up and maintain medical records
• Assist in retrieving and filing medical records as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications 

• High school diploma or GED required
• Two years of CPT and ICD-10 coding and data entry experience, preferred but not required
• One year of coding and data entry experience in a healthcare organization, preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits 

• Salary: $16.77 per hour
• Job Family: Medical Clinical Associate 1 (MR3)
