Patient Care Supervisor, $20000 Bonus, Med Surg,

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to provide leadership and supervision for patient care units. This role includes staff coordination, patient flow management, family and staff education, and problem-solving during assigned shifts. The Nursing Supervisor will also serve as a patient and guest service ambassador, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and collaborate with the Nurse Manager in staff evaluations and performance management.
• Oversee patient flow, staffing, and nursing assignments for both current and oncoming shifts.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare teams to enhance the patient experience.
• Participate in hourly rounding to ensure compliance and high standards of patient care.
• Assist with problem-solving and ensure services align with the hospitals philosophy and objectives.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active Florida RN License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP required within 6 months of hire/promotion (depending on unit assignment).
• Certification in area of specialty required within 2 years of hire, signing, or promotion.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Clinical RN experience in an acute care setting required.
• Prior Cardiac or Neuro Stepdown experience preferred.
