Patient Care Tech - ASC

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at our Gastroenterology Ambulatory Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to ensure a positive experience for our patients undergoing procedures. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist patients with daily activities and ensure their comfort during their visit

- Assist with answering call lights, stocking supplies, and assist with laundry

- Escort patients to their vehicles after procedures

- Ensure rooms are turned over in preparation for next procedure

- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Patient Care Technician or Nursing Assistant preferred.

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in a surgical or ambulatory care environment, is a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
