Patient Care Technician

We are looking for a Patient Care Technician to join our team. We are a fast paced, rapidly growing practice, and in need of an individual who is a highly motivated self-starter and team player.

The person in this role will work in our state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center in Alpharetta, providing excellent patient care and supporting the clinical team. Experience working in pain management, neurosurgery, and/or an outpatient surgery center a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and record information on patients' charts.
• Assist with procedures; injections, suture removal, wound dressing, etc.
• Follow up with post-operative patients, coordinate care with physicians.
• Assist with sterilizing medical instruments.
• Maintain accurate inventory of medical supplies, as well as assess the benefits of new product lines.
• Assist patients with putting on supportive devices, such as orthopedic braces.
• Train patients to use braces on their own.

• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Experience working as a Medical Assistant a plus.

  • Tues 8-4:30
  • Wed 8-12:30
  • Thurs 12-4:30
