Assistant Principal
The Assistant Principal will facilitate educational programs and related services under the direction of the site administrator. He or she will plan, develop, implement, and facilitate functions related to student discipline, facilities, transportation, and building operations.

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree in education (Specialist or Doctorate preferred)
Appropriate Principal Certification
Successful Teaching Experience (middle school preferred; 5 years preferred)
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Leadership Experience
Knowledge of Best Practices in Curriculum/Instruction & Assessment
Knowledge of School Improvement and Best Practices as measured by data/results
Knowledge of Classroom Instruction that Works (preferred)
Professional Learning Communities Training (preferred)
Participation in Current District's Leadership Development Program (preferred)
