Job Title: Patient Care Tech / Monitor Care Tech

Location: Naperville, IL

Shift: 24hrs per week 6:30p-7a, 3-4 weekends shifts in a 6 wk period, wkends are Sat and Sunday night shift

Pay Rate : $18.22 - $22.78/Hr.

Job requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience or telemetry certification

Job Duties:
Telemetry Monitor Technician would be monitoring all patients on telemetry
MTs will be a hybrid role where staff can work as a monitor tech or patient care tech
Under general supervision monitors cardiac rhythms or patients in special care units via telemetry equipment.
Performs related clerical duties such as answering routine questions, taking/relaying calls, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Collect specimens for laboratory testing
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Utilize Cerner or other electronic medical record systems to document patient information accurately
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent infection transmission
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Provide care in various settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, senior care centers, and memory care units

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
