We are currently seeking a Dental Patient Coordinator to join our growing team!

Job Description: As a Dental Patient Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, helping them navigate their dental journey with ease and ensuring that all office processes run smoothly. You will play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience through excellent customer service, clear communication, and efficient coordination of patient schedules, insurance, and office procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar effectively.
• Verify patient insurance and benefits, and assist with insurance claims and billing inquiries.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records are maintained.
• Provide patients with pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and messages, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
• Assist with patient follow-ups, including appointment reminders and treatment plan discussions.
• Handle patient billing, payments, and financial arrangements.
• Support the dental team with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a dental office, preferably as a Patient Coordinator or Front Desk Receptionist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of dental insurance, treatment plans, and financial policies is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (experience with Open Dental is a plus).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in dental administration is a plus.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent of combination of education and experience.
