Job Description: Patient Coordinator for Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Coordinator you will work on our plastic surgery team delivering exceptional patient service. You will support the plastic surgeon, nurse, and surgical medical assistant.

Your responsibilities will involve coordinating patient appointments, making patient charts, triaging calls/tasks, and we will train you to assist in minor office procedures and rooming patients.

You will work alongside a team of dedicated medical professionals, that strive to deliver the highest quality of care and ensure a positive patient experience and outcome.

Your commitment and expertise will contribute to the overall well-being and satisfaction of our patients

Responsibilities

Triage calls, set appointments, create patient charts, support to nurse and medical assistant.

Treat patients with empathy and respect while conducting oneself in a professional manner.

“Can do” attitude, ability to take direction from team lead, this position will need to locally travel to our offices in Palm Harbor (main location), Downtown St Petersburg (once weekly), and Springhill (twice monthly).

Requirements

Requirements and skills

Work experience as coordinator, appointment setter, or medical assistant.

Superb verbal and written communication skills to share updates with patients and other medical staff

Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong analytical thinking and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

Excellent customer service skills

Relevant training and/or certifications as a Patient Coordinator or Medical Assistant
