Job Description - Patient Coordinator (Bilingual)

ROLE OVERVIEW

At Stanton Optical, our Patient Coordinators play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition between our Clinical Services team and our retail team, fostering efficient flow and exceptional patient experiences. In this position, you will deliver outstanding customer service to all patients, effectively facilitating sales and nurturing a strong partnership between our retail and clinical services teams.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in clinical settings
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Superior relationship-building skills
  • Attentive to detail and precision
  • Comfortable with technology and adaptable to new systems
  • Eligibility to work in the United States (Work Permit/Green Card/Citizenship)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Extend warm greetings to patients and customers upon their store entry, identifying patient needs to ensure a smooth and memorable experience, while also promoting available products and services
  • Address customers' inquiries, collecting necessary information to support sales processes
  • Cultivate a robust partnership between the retail and professional services teams
  • Efficiently schedule and confirm appointments, accurately input new patient history and personal data into the system, perform pre-tests (e.g., noncontact tonometry autorefraction, visual acuity, color test, stereopsis test, Amsler grid test, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the Management Team to address patient complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and clear communication on job statuses to meet patient expectations
  • Uphold brand standards by performing basic housekeeping duties when required
  • Fulfill other assigned duties as needed to support efficient operations
