As a Patient Coordinator, you will be integral in bridging patient care with administrative excellence. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality service from the moment they walk through our doors. Our Patient Coordinators and Aides assist in the daily flow of therapy services, working closely with licensed clinicians to deliver a smooth and supportive care experience for patients across a variety of rehabilitation needs. 

Your Role: 

• Assist therapists during treatment sessions to ensure patient safety and support 

• Prepare therapy areas and sanitize equipment to keep a clean, welcoming environment 

• Encourage patients during exercises and therapy tasks 

• Perform administrative duties, including scheduling, check-ins, and documentation 

• Monitor therapy supplies and assist with clinic operations 
• Coordinate patient appointments, verify insurance, and handle referrals.
• Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with front desk operations, answering phone calls, and managing inquiries.
• Work closely with clinicians and administrative staff to enhance patient experience.
• Ensure a welcoming and organized clinic environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Proficient in using office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
