JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for acting as a representative for patients and their families to direct queries and complaints to relevant healthcare professionals. Consult with healthcare providers and evaluate patient progress.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION

Meet with patients to discuss the quality of their care.

Collect information about the patient’s treatment progress.

Inform healthcare providers of any questions or complaints from patients.

Inform families about patients’ treatment progress.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

A degree in psychology, social work or a related field.

Prior experience in healthcare.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Relative physical strength to lift or move patients.

Qualification to perform CPR.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Indoor, Clinic environment.

Essential physical requirements include sitting, typing, standing, and walking.

Lightly active position, occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.

Reporting to work, as scheduled, is essential.
