Patient Representative Central Scheduling

We’re looking for a patient representative for our Central Scheduling department who can help make our patients’ experience simply exceptional.

We’re looking for someone with a smile in their voice, who has an eye for detail, and who wants to ensure every patient receives the best care possible.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to patients which establish a positive first impression of PediaTrust practices.
• Patient scheduling and registration.
• Medical insurance processing and verification.
• Maintaining electronic health records/Patient Portal signups.
• Collecting Patient Co-Pays, credit card information and outstanding balances.
• Other duties as assigned.

Founded in 2012 by seven Chicagoland pediatric practices, PediaTrust has grown to 11 practices with 20 locations across the north, northwest, and western suburbs of Chicago, including four Immediate Care sites. Our pediatric-only group includes over 70 clinicians, along with lactation specialists and a registered dietitian. We take pride in delivering personalized care tailored to each child and family.  Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting/front desk strongly preferred.
• Excellent telephone etiquette.
• Previous experience with scheduling.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Excellent computer skills and accurate data entry.
• EPIC electronic medical record system experience is a plus, previous electronic medical record system required.

Ability to Commute

• Northbrook, IL 60062 (Required). This is an in person role.
