Patient Representative - Orthopedics

Schedule: Full Time Weekdays 

Location: Orthopedics 

Pay Range: $14.41-$17.79 per hour.

Our Family Care Clinic is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals and families throughout every stage of life. As part of an exciting growth initiative, our expanded location will now offer urgent care services, a new acute walk-in clinic for same-day healthcare needs, and enhanced collaboration among providers and clinical teams. As a Patient Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring every patient feels welcomed, supported, and cared for throughout their experience.

How you’ll contribute 

A Patient Representative who excels in this role: 

• Performs receptionist, registration, and clerical duties. 
• Ensures that all necessary patient demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy.
• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains precertification/authorization as necessary. Determines and accepts required payments, including co-pays and deductibles.

What we’re looking for: Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. 

• Previous Medical Office experience is preferred.
• Strong computer skills required.

TCRH is considered a rural hospital that serves a large Medicare population, as well as, a total population of approximately 60,000. We operate within a 100-mile radius.
